After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to the renowned Ribera del Duero region for a wine tour and tastings. After departing Madrid, you will ride through the Spanish countryside before arriving at Ribera del Duero. Upon your arrival, you will spend the day between several wineries and private estates. At each of these estates, you will indulge in some of the region’s wines. Throughout the day, you will learn fascinating facts about the winemaking process in addition to having the opportunity to stroll through the vineyards.

After breakfast this morning, you will venture to La Mancha, which is where Cervantes based the setting of his epic novel, Don Quixote. Before arriving at the windmills, you will stop at one of the largest vineyards in the world. Here, you can indulge in a wine tasting with a master sommelier. Afterward, you will spend the rest of the day witnessing the wondrous windmills of La Mancha. The highlights of your tour will include Consuegra, Campo de Criptana, and La Mota del Cuervo.

After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to Segovia. When you arrive, you will have some time to relax before your guide leads you on a private walking tour of the city. Some areas of the city can be difficult to maneuver if you do not have comfortable walking shoes. Following your tour, you have some time to spend at your leisure. You can dine at a restaurant per your guide’s recommendation or relax at your accommodation. Regardless of what you choose to do, the evening will be at your leisure.

Your first full day in Segovia will begin with a hot air balloon ride. You will spend the rest of the morning flying over the city of Segovia. Your tour will conclude with a delicious glass of Cava and a lovely brunch. Later this evening, you will partake in a private cooking class. This course will teach you how to cook an authentic Spanish meal under the tutelage of a master chef. Once you finish, you will be able to taste the fruits of your labor.

After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to Salamanca. Once you arrive in Salamanca, you will have some time to relax before your guide leads you on an immersive tour of the city. Your tour will include many of the city’s iconic sites, such as Plaza Mayor, Palacio de Monterrey, Casa de las Conchas, Patio de Escuelas Mayores, and Catedral Nueva. This evening, you can indulge in a feast from the comforts of your suite. Afterward, you can have a couple’s massage that will surely set the tone for an incredible night’s sleep.

After a relaxing morning, you will make your way to Avila. Upon your arrival, your guide will lead you to the city’s iconic sites. Your tour will include sites such as the walls of Avila, the Sanctuary of San Vicente, and the Cathedral. Afterward, you will have some free time to stroll around the city together, window shopping and enjoying some exploration. Your time in Avila will conclude with a Spanish meal under the stars at one of Avila’s most renowned restaurants. Once you finish, you can have your final evening in Spain at your leisure.

This morning, you will have a final brunch before your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
