Spain, Portugal Trip Review: Food Tour, Cathedrals, 2 Weeks

Zicasso’s travel specialist and tour operator are fantastic. They planned a great adventure for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Spain and Portugal. When little hiccups came up, our agents took care of everything. This was our second vacation planned through Zicasso and they have delivered both times. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator to any of my friends who are planning a vacation to Spain or Portugal.

Spain Vacation Review: Madrid, Toledo, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Seville, Cooking Class, 20 Nights

The trip arranged by Zicasso's travel specialist was amazing! The itinerary she assembled for us included everything we had requested when first discussing what we wanted to see and do in Spain. Every transfer, train ride, and flight was on time and executed in a highly professional manner.

Our tour guides were extremely proficient in their knowledge and interpersonal skills. All of our hotels were four-star or better, with very clean and comfortable rooms, and a convenient location to the specific area we were visiting.

Without question, we would work with this travel partner again. The travel specialist and her assistant provided excellent support throughout our entire trip, always being available to answer any questions we had.

Spain Travel Review: Ronda, Gibralfaro Castle, Olive Fields, Wine Tasting, 10 Nights

Zicasso’s travel designer was very knowledgeable and helpful when planning the trip, and our travel agent was extremely attentive to our group during the trip. Both these pieces together allowed us to cram in a large variety of experiences, spread across Spain into a relatively short trip, without feeling rushed.

Morocco, Portugal, Spain Anniversary Tour Review: Casablanca, Porto, Lisbon, Sevilla, Malaga, Madrid, Sherry Tasting, Private Guides, Private Drivers, History, Culture, 17-Day Trip

Zicasso’s travel agency helped us plan a 17-day, three-country tour (Morocco, Portugal, and southern Spain). We were able to enjoy all the highlights of each city we visited with a very well-paced schedule!

The travel company's staff were flexible too! Adjusting the initial itinerary for cost and sites to visit was not an issue. We cut out a leg to Barcelona and some private drivers where prudent. We also adding things back in (i.e., a sherry-tasting experience, etc., was accommodated).

During our trip was where this travel company truly excelled. The staff very conscientiously checked in on us as our tour progressed and were proactively reminding us (via a messaging tool) of meeting places and the names of guides for the next day. They stayed on top of our itinerary and continuously inquired if they could do anything else! I enlisted their help when I had trouble checking in to our flight from Casablanca to Porto. At my request, she stepped in and helped successfully check us in! Knowing of my difficulties in checking in to intra-EU flights, she then took the initiative to check us in to our next flight from Lisbon to Sevilla! I even had a scare when I forgot some valuables in the safe in our hotel in Málaga, but she was able to retrieve them and send them to me in Madrid! It was comforting to know we had someone in our corner looking out for us!

We have gone with Zicasso on many trips, but this tour operator met and far exceeded our expectations for this trip! The travel company not only saved me a great disappointment for my forgetfulness, but provided very informative private guides, courteous drivers, and exceptional personal service throughout our itinerary! This was our 43rd-anniversary trip and they provided us with wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime!

Spain Vacation Review: Madrid, Seville, Flamenco Show, 8 Days

I was amazed at the precision with which the trip was executed by Zicasso’s tour partner (coordination with transfers, drivers, guides, train tickets, restaurants, admissions). It was more than I expected and made a whirlwind week of travel very accessible.
