Portugal’s Most Romantic Excursions: Intimate 8-Day Vacation

After breakfast this morning, you will venture to the countryside for a creative endeavor together. Today, you will have a private tour at a local winery. Here, you will be greeted by a friendly expert sommelier and led on a comprehensive tour of the winemaking process from grape to bottle. After your tour, you will have the opportunity to taste some of the wine that is made onsite. The rest of your day will be spent creating your own wine under the tutelage of your sommelier.

In the early morning hours, you will transfer to Setubal. Here, you can spend the first part of the day enjoying the great outdoors along the coast. You will most likely spend the day exploring the coastline, but you can also swim, stroll, or cliff dive. After such an active day, you will return to Setubal around sunset, where you will meet a private masseuse for an oceanside couples massage. This will allow you to listen to the waves as they gently lap against the shoreline.

After breakfast this morning, your guide will lead you to some of the hidden gems of Setubal. This morning tour will include Palmela Castle, S. Filipe Fort, Castelo de Sesimbra, and Cape Espichel. Your afternoon will lead you to Melides, where you will ride horseback into the sunset. This ride will lead you through a lovely pine forest before arriving at a pristine beach. After the sun sets, your private driver will return you to your Setubal accommodation.

After an early morning, you will fly to Lisbon before flying again to the Portuguese paradise of Porto Santo Island. The island is home to pristine beaches, charming villages, and astounding natural wonders. After making it to your new accommodation, you will set off on a private tour of the island’s highlights. Your tour will include Campo de Baixo, Campo de Cima, and Lombas. A wine tasting will then conclude your tour. Lastly for the day, you will make your way to the Portela viewpoint, where working windmills and incredible views will inspire you.

Today, you will have an early morning because you will be hiking up Pico Branco. At the summit, an incredible view of the island awaits to reward your efforts. You will then continue to Terra Cha. Soon after, you will make your way back down the mountain before boarding a private yacht and sailing along the coastline. This experience will allow you to relax in luxurious comforts while sipping champagne and appreciating the spectacular views. You will also have a choice of watersports when at sea.

You will have another early morning because, today, you will be snorkeling off the coast of Porto Santo Island. You will follow your experienced guide through the shallow water to witness a variety of marine life. Afterward, you will transfer to the beach for a kitesurfing lesson. Your guide will help you every step of the way. So, even if you have not kitesurfed before, you will still have an amazing time.

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the airport so that you can connect with your flight home.
