The Essence of Rome & Florence: A Golden Age Tour

After a light breakfast, you will head to the lobby of your hotel to meet your transportation for the day. Today, your guide will be equipped with a luxury golf cart, which will allow you to zip through the winding streets of this city silently and comfortably. Your guide will show you all of the delights and must-sees of Rome on a route that expertly circumvents the traffic and tourists of the city. Once you have had enough touring for one day, you will be returned to your luxurious accommodation, where you will have the remainder of the evening at your leisure.

You will spend the day on the manicured and scenic acres of Italy’s official PGA National Golf Course. All 18 of these holes were designed to feature spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside and surrounding water. Your private driver will whisk you through the busy streets of Rome to the countryside, where life moves at a more relaxed pace.  Once the sun sets, you will be transferred to a Michelin-starred dining experience on the sea that will be in the luscious gardens of Argentario.

You will be met at the entrance by an expert guide who will be ready to show you the must-sees of this incredible locale in addition to the hidden gems that few are able to experience. This early morning tour will allow you to visit the Vatican before the hordes of tourists arrive. After you have spent the day entrenched in the rich history and stunning designs that can be found in the Vatican, your driver will be prepared to transfer you to the banks of the Tiber River, where your sunset dinner cruise awaits.

Today, you will be pampered in addition to being accompanied by traditional Tuscan cuisine and the best wine that this region has to offer. You will begin early with a private transfer from Rome to your luxurious accommodation in Florence. Once your items have been safely stowed in your new hotel, your driver will transfer you to Bagno Vignoni, which is an ancient village in the heart of Tuscany and the home to what is called the most beautiful spa in all of Italy. In the afternoon, you can indulge in a unique wine experience. This experience takes wine tasting one step further by also allowing you to relax in a bath of local wine. The massage following the bath is said to have an exfoliating effect with anti-aging properties, as the residue of the wine, including its pips and pulp, gently smooth and refresh your skin.

After yesterday’s exciting experiences, today, you will have the opportunity to wake up slowly. When you are ready, your driver will escort you to the Accademia Gallery, where your VIP tickets and private guide await. Today, you will spend a few hours delving into the art and history that can be found in this building. The tickets that have been reserved for you will allow you to skip the line in addition to providing you with exclusive access to the exhibits that are on display. You will then be provided with a far deeper and more lasting knowledge of Michelangelo and his work.

Today, your day will begin bright and early to allow you to maximize every moment of the experience. Upon your arrival in San Vincenzo, you will meet your captain for the day and prepare for a cruise around the Mediterranean aboard a yacht. You will have noticed in your time in this incredible city that its corners are lined with perfume shops, that emanate scents that effectively perfume the streets around you. This morning, you will be walked through the creation of a custom scent, masculine or feminine, with the helping hand of a Florentine Master Perfumer. Your private Perfumer will teach you the secrets of the iconic scents that make up the world of scented products. This master class accepts very few visitors year-round.
