Florence – Tour of Florence Cathedral
Your 9-day journey will begin when you land at Florence International Airport. A private driver will greet and transfer you to your luxurious accommodation. After having some time to relax and settle in to your new surroundings, your guide will lead you on a private tour of the Florence Cathedral. The colorful marble of the Cathedral will be a fascinating sight, and you will begin to learn about the intriguing history of the church from your guide. Once your tour concludes, you will be free to explore more of Florence at your own pace.
Florence – Art of the Renaissance
After breakfast this morning, you will set out with your private guide on an engaging tour of Florence’s priceless art. Your guide will first lead you to the Uffizi Gallery. The gallery is home to some of the best examples of Renaissance art, and around every corner, you can witness paintings by world-renowned artists, such as Raphael and Caravaggio. Once inside, a trip to the cellar will give you an up-close look at the winemaking and storage process. Lucca – Walking Tour of Highlights
After breakfast this morning, you will set out for your next destination of Lucca. Upon your arrival, your guide will greet and lead you on a walking tour of the city. Your private tour will take you to the best sites and allow you to immerse yourself in Lucca’s rich culture and history. The Lucca Cathedral will be a beautiful sight. Nearby, you will feel the history in Piazza dell’ Anfiteatro, which is a popular square that was once the site of a Roman amphitheater. You will then have time to pause for a light lunch before continuing to Guinigi Tower. The 14th-century tower is known for its brick design and rooftop garden.
Lucca – The Enchanting City of Pisa
This morning, you will board a private transfer for the day’s excursion, which will be an intriguing visit to Pisa. After a brief but enjoyable ride, you will arrive in the city, and your expert guide will greet you and begin your tour. Pisa’s main sites are located within the Square of Miracles, and you will visit them all during your visit. The final stop of your tour will be the town of Vernazza. Vernazza is considered one of the most beautiful places in Italy, and your surroundings will seem to have been taken from a postcard. Your day will conclude with a climb to the top of the ancient Doria Castle.
Monterosso al Mare – Relax on Pristine Beaches
When you are ready, you will have a short but scenic journey to your final destination of Monterosso al Mare. After having some time to relax at your waterfront accommodation, you will set out to explore the town. After visiting a few locales, you will be led to one of Monterosso al Mare’s idyllic beaches, where you will enjoy several hours to relax and unwind on the sand. The golden sand and blue water will be wonderful, and you will lose track of time as you sip on a refreshing drink and bask in the warmth of the sun.
Monterosso al Mare – Departure
You will have time for one more stroll around Monterosso al Mare this morning. With a cup of coffee and warm Italian pastry in hand, you can discover more of the scenic views together. Soon, you will have to return to your hotel, where a private driver will be waiting to transfer you to Pisa International Airport for your flight home.
