Highlights of Greece Tour for Aged 50+ Travelers

After breakfast this morning, your guide will lead you on a tour of Athens’ highlights. Your adventure will begin at the Acropolis and will also introduce you to the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the famous gateway known as Propylaea, the Erechtheum, and the Parthenon. You can also witness the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Panathenaic Stadium. After breakfast this morning, you will have the opportunity to escape to Delphi. After meeting your private guide, you will venture to your destination, which is a destination of monuments and odes to ancient Greece. After a full day of filling your mind with fascinating facts and incredible sites, you will stop at the charming towns of Arachova and Levadia on your way back to Athens. Afterward, you will return to Athens, where you will have the remainder of the evening to spend at your leisure.

After a leisurely morning, your guide will lead you on a tour of the Meteora monasteries. Tucked among the clouds the Meteora monasteries tower over the world and appear to float amid the sky. Upon your arrival, your guide will lead you on an in-depth tour of three of the least remote monasteries. Following your tour, you will visit the lovely Kastraki village. Afterward, you will stop at Thermopylae before returning to Athens for the evening.

After breakfast, you will venture to Mykonos. Upon your arrival, you will settle in to your accommodation before having a couple of hours to spend at your leisure. When you are ready, your guide will lead you to a helipad for a private helicopter flight over the island. Your flight will provide you with a unique vantage point of many of Mykonos’ highlights. Once you land, you will embark on a private snorkeling excursion. After your marine adventure, you will have the rest of the evening to spend at your leisure.

You will have the chance for a leisurely breakfast this morning before embarking on a cruise along Mykonos’ shorelines. Your first stop will be Kalafatis Bay. Here, you can relax on the shore or from the deck of the yacht. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to snorkel before indulging in a massage on the boat. Frangias and Paradise Beach will be your final stops of the day. You will most likely begin your ride back to your accommodation as the sun dips below the horizon.

After breakfast this morning, you will have another sailing excursion. Today, you will venture to the islands that lie just beyond the shores of Mykonos. Your destinations will be Delos and Rhinia. Once you set sail from Mykonos, you will be free to relax on the deck of your yacht. Your first stop will be the island of Delos, which is an archeological wonder. A visit to Rhinia will follow. Here, you can swim and snorkel before returning to Mykonos for a visit to Armenistis Lighthouse.

After a quick breakfast this morning, you will fly to Santorini in a helicopter. Instead of touching down upon reaching the island, you will be led on an aerial tour of Santorini’s highlights. Upon the completion of your tour, you will settle in to your new accommodation before setting off on a sail among the Aegean Sea. You will cruise in a yacht and have the day to customize to your interests and desires.  You can swim, snorkel, paddleboard, and kayak.

This morning, you will have the option of indulging in breakfast before or after your seaside yoga session. After your yoga session, you will have a short time to relax before embarking on another sail among the sea. This excursion will lead you to natural hot springs and secluded beaches. Your first stop will be at the Nea Kameni hot springs. After spending some time in the healing waters, you will venture to the shores of Thirasia. After the sun sets, you will be returned to your accommodation.

This morning, you will have a final breakfast before transferring to the airport.
