Day 1: Welcome to Fiji!

Fiji is arguably the friendliest place on the planet... and a whole lot more. If adventure is in your soul, Fiji is the place to indulge it.  The Fiji Islands are an archipelago of over 300 islands packed with attractions that can be found nowhere else.  Whether you seek romance, relaxation, cultural immersion, cruising the sea or the ultimate eco-tour escapade, you'll find fulfillment here.  Our representatives in Fiji will meet you outside Customs Hall after you have cleared Customs & Immigration.

Fiji has a warm tropical climate perfect for an island vacation. Maximum temperatures rarely move out of the 88°F to 79°F range all year round. Southeast trade winds from March to November bring dry weather and the rainy season runs from December to April.

Sonaisali Island Resort is a true island escape in the beautiful South Pacific Ocean - yet the world you've left behind is only a three-minute boat ride across the lagoon from the main island of Viti-Levu. Experience the luxury of privacy on Sonaisali without feeling marooned. Each day the choice is yours - simply unwind and relax or you may choose to explore the many varied and exciting attractions of the mainland, or neighboring Mamanuca Islands. On Sonaisali, if you're doing nothing it's because you want it that way! Opened in 1992 and with major additions in 1998/99 and 2002, the Resort is stylish in both design and execution. Native timbers, plantation shutters and Fijian architecture harmonize with modern interiors designed to please the most discerning guest.

The Beachfront Hotel Rooms have picture windows and private balconies overlooking the ocean. Conveniently located close to the main complex of the Resort, Beachfront Hotel Rooms are ideal for families.  Features include; air-conditioning , Multiple Analogue Television System, Satellite TV and DVD's, Sony Flat Screen TV's, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, deluxe bathrooms with double vanity - separate shower and bath , hair dryer, iron & ironing board, refrigerator & mini bar, clock radio, direct dial telephone and in room safe.
