Detailed Description

Begin your journey in one of the most sought-after destinations in Cape Town: the V&A Waterfront. After checking into your luxurious hotel, you will witness gorgeous wraparound views of the sea from the comfort of your private balcony. Breathe in the fresh ocean air and unwind in complete comfort after the long flight to South Africa. Over the next few days, you will discover the most iconic attractions in and around the city in addition to enjoying the exquisite South African cuisine. You will spend your first full day, after a delightful breakfast spread, venturing through the city and stopping to see the culturally immersive points of interest. In the evening, you will climb a Cable Car to the top of the spectacular Table Mountain for panoramic views of the cityscape.

The following day, uncover more of the country’s rich heritage as you make your way to the famous Robben Island. The story of South Africa’s remarkable, former president will inspire you as you visit the cell in which he was imprisoned for 18 years of his sentence. After transferring back to the Cape Town coastline, delight in Afternoon Tea with traditional South African treats and a sweeping view of the surrounding area from the top of one of the city’s most prominent sunset locations. The next morning you will transfer to Cape Town’s premier seaside suburb: Camps Bay. Enjoy the majestic ocean views and fine-dining hotspots as you explore more of the elite area. You will spend the following day visiting Cape Town’s pristine, white beaches, which is located only a short distance from your immaculate hotel.

On the 6th day of your trip, you will join your private transfer for an enchanting tour of the Cape Peninsula. Sit back comfortably as you take in the picturesque views of the Western Cape’s scenic settings and stop at all of the key destinations along the route. After arriving at the Cape of Good Hope where the two oceans meet, you will be invigorated by the sheer majesty of the province’s diverse environment. Continue to your next lavish suite in the Constantia area, which is a breathtaking Cape Town suburb that is most notably recognized for its world-class wines. After a night’s rest in the tranquil location, you will explore Constantia’s famous wine route and visit a few of the country’s distinguished estates. A picture-perfect day of tasting and overlooking the beautiful Constantia valley will round off with an exquisite fine-dining experience.

On your final few days of the trip, you will witness the wonderful wildlife within South Africa. The city’s celebrated, national botanical garden provides you with the opportunity to leisurely view the diverse flora of the Western Cape. You will enjoy a serene picnic in the stunning gardens that are nestled at the base of the impressive Table Mountain. In the evening, you will experience haute cuisine in true South African style as you relish in meals that will be prepared by an award-winning local restaurant. On the final full day of your trip, journey along the Whale Coast Route and explore the magnificent wildlife from the mighty peaks of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. Transfer back to Cape Town’s premier restaurants in Hout Bay for one last African sunset that will overlook the deep blue waters of the South Atlantic Ocean. Interested in learning more by seeing some of our travelers’ South Africa vacation tour reviews? Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe Vacation Review:...

The trip was the best we have ever had. Africa is a very special place. Zicasso's travel expert did a fantastic job of organizing the itinerary. The only disappointment was that we were not scheduled to see the mass migration across the river.

We had an amazing trip, planned by Zicasso's travel partner. This is the first time I've ever used a travel agent and I'll admit, I was nervous. She took all of our feedback into consideration while planning. I highly recommend!

Namibia, South Africa Birthday Trip Review: 18 Nights

This was a well-planned trip that was personally rewarding and fulfilling.

This trip provided a great balance of the diverse locations from both countries (Namibia and South Africa).

I chose Zicasso as, at this stage of life, when taking well-deserved vacations, I just want to pay, pack, show up and have everything (accommodations, transportation, domestic and international flights, tours, attention to safety, and additional recommendations) accounted for. And that is exactly what the Zicasso's travel expert provided via her tour agency.

I was able to share my must-haves/nice-to-haves and she customized a vacation package that tended to every detail. It was a wonderful balance of rustic and luxury. It was also our July “birthdaycation” for my aunt and me, and we were surprised at multiple locations with surprise birthday acknowledgements. Birthdays are very special to me, so this was a major “icing” on the cake for me on this vacation.

Although there was a minor “hiccup” on the day of arrival, the travel specialist's “on-the-ground” (local) staff pivoted and quickly and professionally found another option for us for our airport pickup. This shows the mark of a company interested in ensuring the complete satisfaction of their clients.

For the destinations the travel expert specializes in, they will be my first point of contact when looking to make my next vacation destination.

Well done!

Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa Vacation Review: Johannesburg,...

The trip was carefully planned and we received optimal assistance throughout the trip and constant availability and monitoring during the journey. Our Zicasso travel agent was very professional and always available to respond to our requests and needs. The choice of hotels was excellent and reflected the expectations. The activities offered in the different locations were very well structured and the guides were of high quality, particularly those in Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta.

South Africa Vacation Review: Cape Town, Table Mountain,...

Our family had a blast in South Africa, thanks to Zicasso's travel designer. She was meticulous in the planning and gave some good suggestions that worked well for our group. From fast-track tickets up to Table Mountain to food recommendations, she curated an itinerary that made the trip a breeze.

The guide in Cape Town was a wellspring of knowledge. We learned so much about the country from her, from history to economics and culture.

The safari portion of the trip was most memorable. The resort in Hoedspruit was just what the family needed.

We will definitely look up this travel company for future trips.
