Auckland – Exploring the Waterfront
Land in Auckland and you may find it hard to believe that this is New Zealand’s biggest city. Yachts lull in the harbor as hills poke up to dominate the cityscape. The waters are blue and inviting, and though a third of the country lives here the urban landscape is dwarfed by nature. This is just the beginning of the New Zealand experience as you have landed in a country where nature writes the script. Today it will be a coastline narrative as you check into your waterfront hotel and explore the promenade as popup cafes juxtapose with sailing yachts. Islands jut out along the horizon, and you will find the laid-back culture of a land cast adrift in the South Pacific.

Zicasso’s travel specialist was very knowledgeable about New Zealand and Fiji. He prepared a wonderful itinerary within our budget and the trip went off flawlessly. We had a weather glitch that required a change ASAP and he was right there to make the changes. It was one of the best trips we have had.

Zicasso's travel agent and his team helped us craft a wonderful family trip of a lifetime! The lodging, myriad activities, variety of locations, cultural education, road-trip planning, and extra suggestions were all very much appreciated and enjoyed. The landscape of New Zealand is gorgeous and the people are so warm, easygoing, and welcoming. We left with a heartfelt plan to return someday in the not-too-distant future. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful time and we appreciate the efforts of Zicasso's travel specialists. Unfortunately, our trip was severely impacted by the weather in the south and several planned events did not happen. The support we got from the agency was very comforting and helpful while we faced uncertainty. They helped us manage as best as we could and I am grateful for their efforts and assistance. What we were able to do was worth doing and remembering, and I certainly could only say positive things about New Zealand, its inhabitants, and our agency following my experience.
