Italy Trip Review: Cortona, Florence, Truffle Hunting, 13 Nights

When we decided to go to Italy, we wanted to avoid a group tour so we could see and do what we were interested in at our own pace. Zicasso connected us with our tour operator and we were impressed with their competence, knowledge, and personal touch. Throughout the process of deciding what to do in Italy, they provided valuable guidance and suggestions. Information was exchanged via email, Zoom, and phone calls, then everything was confirmed by email from the tour operator. Our agenda was detailed and easy to follow. We visited five cities and stayed at small and large hotels, some downtown, some rural.

We recommend using guides, as we did for a two- to three-hour walking tour, for places you visit. All our guides and the excursions the tour operator arranged were excellent. We could not have done these things with a group tour. All transportation in Italy was arranged for us and the drivers were professional, friendly, and prompt, so we had no problem getting places. The hotels we stayed at were screened by the tour operator, so they were exactly what we wanted. They included breakfast, which was excellent. All recommendations for places to eat worked out great for us and we enjoyed them immensely.

The tour operator is an expert in travel to Italy. The custom itinerary they provided made our trip very special for us and we enjoyed it beyond our expectations. We highly recommend using this tour operator for any trip to Italy.

Italy Travel Review: Historical Sites, Local Cuisine, 8 Nights

The whole team from Zicasso's tour operator was fantastic! They really listened to what our expectations, along with our budget, were and meticulously created the perfect itinerary for our trip. When issues came about, they quickly handled them and even had in place a replacement experience when our original experience was canceled. Having all the hotel, dinner, and transfer details arranged for us gave us a peace of mind knowing we could fully enjoy the trip. I highly recommend the tour operator!
