Day 1
London – An Indulgent Spa Welcome
There's arriving in England, and then there's arriving in England. You're greeted at the airport and whisked outside to a waiting limousine for the journey into the city. Famous city sights roam past the window as you travel along the River Thames to your luxury hotel. Encased in an ornate Victorian building, this five-star property is amongst London's finest, reveling in its heritage yet always providing contemporary luxury. Wander through the glass-domed lobby, admire the vast expanses of marble, and check in to a penthouse with 24-hour butler service and a private terrace. From here, you can take in many of the nearby London sentinels, like the dome of Westminster Abbey, the twirls of the London Eye, and the turrets of Westminster. Of course, you're staying at a central location. You're less than a five-minute walk to Big Ben, Downing Street and Covent Garden.
Now time to relax and reenergize. Enjoy a two-hour treatment at the hotel's iconic spa, choosing from an extensive menu of options that help soothe any travel aches. The bustle of London continues outside, but inside the spa, there's nothing but fragrant scents and the serenity provided by luxury. Completing the introduction to iconic England is a journey through its tastes. Rustic smells waft from the kitchen of a Michelin-starred restaurant, stewed rabbit and smoked broccoli tempting from afar. This kitchen at Claridge's hotel was where Gordon Ramsey made his name. Double Michelin-starred Simon Rogan has taken on the baton, providing an atmospheric tasting journey through all things British.

Detailed Description
Spend ten days in England and the iconic scenes could fill countless diary pages. Of course, there's the black cabs and red double-decker buses. But this handcrafted luxury England tour is all about the indulgent snapshots of quintessential England: tea and scones on a regal hotel terrace, rambling through bucolic countryside forests, getting blinded by the Crown Jewels, or bathing in a spa with a two-millennia history. This English experience isn't about sightseeing. It's about experiencing the England of travel reverie. Think personal shopping assistants in the country's most luxurious store, exclusive private access to world-renowned attractions, and salubrious spas hidden from the world.
England's indulgence spans the ages, from medieval musings to the contemporary offerings that wind through the capital. This luxury itinerary is designed to showcase all the eras, unraveling Elizabethan grandeur, Victorian excess, Georgian luxury, and everything in between. Start in London, a city of contrasts and sublime attractions. Royal afternoon tea keeps you energized, a triple-tiered silver platter of cakes accompanying the timeless mug of English Breakfast. Exclusive closed-door tours offer uninterrupted access to attractions that are usually overrun with tourists. For example, the Crown Jewels aren't quite as impressive when you have to elbow your way in for a closer look. They're enhanced when a Tower of London guard personally unlocks the door for you. In the West End, you have VIP tickets for a show, as you uncover subtle styles and private collections on a tailored art tour.
Four days provide an idealistic introduction to the pomp and razzmatazz of England, complete with some relaxation at your five-star hotel's spa. Natural springs have been the focus of Bath since Roman times; you'll find that the salubrious bubbles are the continual backdrop of redolent Georgian architecture. Two nights in Bath ensures you're fully immersed in a World Heritage site and all its lavish history. Throughout the ten days, you're also treated to a selection of the country's finest restaurants; each one handpicked for its indulgent dishes and sensual kitchens. The quintessential English food might be fish and chips or roasted meat smothered in gravy. But Michelin star chefs have a sublime ability to elevate iconic dishes to contemporary tastes.
Next, you're transferred to a charming cottage in the New Forest. Wild ponies roam the heathlands outside your window, the log fire can crackle all year around, and there's miles of beautiful walks through the ancient woodlands. It's undoubtedly one of England's most beautiful spots, filled with babbling brooks and untouched nature. Completing the itinerary is Canterbury, the medieval cathedral town that delights in its portrayal of heritage. It's 15 centuries old, and it still looks as luxurious and grandiose as it comes. Wrapping these ten days in five-star opulence is a handcrafted collection of the country's finest hotels. Each has its quintessential style, from enchanting cottages to sublime townhouses, ornate bathtubs to Victorian classics. We absolutely loved our England adventure and already wish we could go back. It was a perfect balance of English countryside, history, and culture.
All our hotels were wonderful. The lodge in Broadway was such an extraordinary place to stay—the property was so historic, but the rooms and amenities were modern. We loved the pool and gym, and delicious food/drink they offered. We also took advantage of the playground down the street every evening after dinner—it had a zipline and a beautiful vista. The lodge at Warwick was also amazing, such a fun place to stay for families with young kids. We also really enjoyed our hotel in London. The location was ideal as we could walk to restaurants and we had a tube station right there.
Our drivers were also very professional and friendly, and made the transfers between locations so simple and stress-free for us. Honestly we have nothing but good things to say about every moment of this vacation, from the afternoon tea to the "Harry Potter" studio tour.

When we reached out to Zicasso to plan our trip, we were matched with two different agencies. After speaking to them both, we felt most comfortable with this travel company and we are so glad we chose them! We wanted to plan a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Europe and the tour company went above and beyond to help us do that!
Everyone we worked with listened to our needs and requests, and together we created the perfect itinerary for our family, which included something for everyone! We had all of the information we needed to make us feel comfortable and prepared, and we also knew they were there for us if we needed anything during the trip itself.
We fit so much into this trip. We saw sights we have always wanted to and had unforgettable experiences together as a family! We will treasure these memories forever and we have this travel company to thank for that!
