Enchanting 7-Day Costa Rica Family Vacation

This morning, you will visit Poas Volcano National Park for a family treasure hunt on one of Central America’s most active volcanos. You do not need to worry because this is a very safe experience. After a relatively late start this morning, you will fly to Arenal. After a private transfer and lunch at your resort, the afternoon adventure will reveal the wonders of Arenal’s forested slopes. First, you will travel by sky tram, ascending above the treetops to spectacular views of the water and canopy. You will travel up and then zoom back down via some of the world’s most exciting ziplining tracks. After a couple of short lines, you will continue your journey on a mix of high bridges and more ziplines. Your resort will have its own hot springs, and while these are also public, the entry price for non-staying guests keeps them serene and soothing.

Your family fun will continue on a private adventure to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. With the Arenal volcano peering down on you, you will cross Lake Arenal, which will prove to be a soothing, morning sight before a rugged track leads you into the clouds. Like yesterday, your experience today will be all about a unique way to explore. Narrow bridges connect enormous trees and hang down over the canopy, offering an idyllic view of the forest life. With a late-afternoon flight out of San Jose, you will have time for some more wide-eyed wonder before your exciting vacation comes to a close. This morning, your children come face to face with different monkeys and sloths. At a wildlife sanctuary the encounters are more guaranteed, so you can see any animal that is on your must-see list. From the sanctuary, you will be transferred to Arenal’s airport for the very short flight to San Jose and your onward connection.
