You have a chance to immerse yourself in the history of China with this 2-week China tour. Your first adventure will begin in Shanghai, where you will first visit the Bund. One of the highlights of your time in Shanghai will be walking through Old Shanghai to discover a unique part of the city’s history.
You will then transfer to Xi’an to view the Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army is a squad of warriors that stands guard for the first emperor in his afterlife. Then, you will stroll through Muslim Quarter to sample many of the area’s delicious snacks. You will also witness the Leshan Buddha and venture to the top of the Wild Goose Pagoda for a panoramic view of Xi’an. You will then transfer to Zhengzhou, where you will unearth the relics of the town. Afterward, you will venture to the cultural capital of China and glide along the Qinhuai River.
In Hangzhou, you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of West Lake before learning about the benefits of Chinese tea and the infamous silk products of the city. To conclude your vacation, you will visit the Great Wall of China, which is arguably China’s most popular landmark. The following day, you will fly home.
