The romance of Europe is ineffable, emanating from the architecture and monuments, landscape and legendary history. Your 18-day Europe tour of romantic cities brings you to the splendor around the Alps beginning with your arrival in Amsterdam, Holland. The city emanates charm in its 700-year history. The brightly painted buildings border the canals, and bridges connect neighborhoods like lifelines. On your first full day in the city, one of our luxury Europe tour agents will arrange for your guide to lead you on a fabulous tour of the captivating Royal Palace and mesmeric Rijksmuseum. After your tour, indulge in the charm of a canal cruise.

The following day, wave goodbye to Amsterdam and embark on a journey to Heidelberg, Germany, stopping en route at Koblenz to board a luxurious Rhine River cruise. Once in Heidelberg, you can stroll around the antique cobblestone streets of Old Town situated underneath a castled cliff. Venture to the picture-book town of Rothenburg and the vibrant city of Munich before settling into the Oberammergau area. Wake up to the peaceful sounds of village life at Ettal and visit the historic Ettal Abbey at the base of the Bavarian Alps.

Explore the church and revel in the flavors of a liquor and beer tasting, both made on the property by the monks. The following day you will visit the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle patroned by King Ludwig I. Cross the Alps into the charming town of Innsbruck, Austria before venturing through the Brenner Pass to settle in the Italian Dolomites in the city of Cortina D’Ampezzo. The scenic drive through the Dolomites brings you to the small hillside town of Conegliano where you enjoy the varied flavors of the regional wine, prosecco, on a wine tasting tour.

Once in Venice you have a full day of romance in the city shaped by its canals. Travel into the mountains around Lake Maggiore and enter the Swiss Alps, arriving in Zermatt, a charming village at the base of the Matterhorn. Spend time indulging in the panorama and delight in a ride on Europe’s highest railway. Leave the Matterhorn vista for the lakeside chateaus of Montreux. Italy, Switzerland Travel Review: Livigno, St Moritz, Winter Olympics, 11 Nights

First time to the Olympics and an add-on to Switzerland! Zicasso’s travel specialist was great at listening to our needs and putting together an itinerary.

Our trip to Livigno was fantastic! The location to the two Olympic venues was ideal.

All of the details were covered and when we had a change in one of our day tours due to potential avalanches, the team at the travel company was extremely responsive and was able to adjust.

All of our transportation was well organized and on time. We also had to pivot when our flights home to the US were changed due to weather and the team quickly helped with adjustments to our schedule.

We loved the train from Italy to Switzerland.

We highly recommend this travel specialist and the travel company!

Italy, Switzerland Travel Review: Livigno, Milan, St Moritz, Pasta Cooking Class, 'The Last Supper', 14 Days

Our experience with Zicasso’s travel company was simply outstanding! Our travel specialists provided top-notch service, from the initial planning to the entirety of the trip.

They were able to secure housing for us in Livigno during the Olympics when no one else was able to do so. Responsiveness to our inquiries during the planning process was always prompt and thorough. Communication regarding the next day's agenda throughout the trip was excellent, including the contact information for our drivers and tour guides, tickets for events, and links to Google Maps, with directions, when needed. If we could give them more than five stars, we would!

France Vacation Review: Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Giverny, Monet Experience, 6 Days

I had been hesitant to book a trip to France because of the difficulty of language. I had the opportunity to visit friends in Nantes and Bordeaux, but wanted to take a tour of Paris first. I needed help with transportation to and from the airport, to our hotel, and to and from the Paris train stations. I also wanted to take tours to a few iconic landmarks. The Zicasso company helped with all these requests and also gave us a driver and guides to some of the landmarks. With all this support from Zicasso, we had a seamless itinerary and a most wonderful and magical time in Paris.

Austria, Czechia Trip Review: Vienna, Prague, Christmas Markets, Food Tour, 10-Day Trip

Having used Zicasso previously, I solicited their help in planning a 10-day trip to Vienna and Prague over Christmas and New Year’s, with short notice. Parameters included a full experience, Christmas markets, and an exposure to culture, churches, and museums. Zicasso’s travel agent, based in Slovenia, was helpful, responsive, and timely in her communications, including when issues and concerns arose. The overall experience was excellent, including the pre-arranged tours. The price point was high, especially when considering the marginal cost for a third person, but we were fully satisfied with our experience.
