Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 :
USA
Depart USA for an overnight flight to Palermo.
Day 2 :
PALERMO
Arrival in Palermo. Pick-up your vehicle at the Car Rental facility and drive to Palermo. Drive to your hotel in Palermo. The rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 3 :
PALERMO
After breakfast, explore the city on your own. Visit the Norman Cathedral and the Paltine Chapel, considered on of the best monuments of the Norman period in Palermo. Enjoy lunch and taste some of the regional dishes and incredible wines. (B)
Day 4 :
PALERMO
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Spend your day shopping or take and optional excursion to see more fascinating sites. (B)
Day 5 :
PALERMO / TAORMINA
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Depart towards Taormina with a possible stop in Agrigento or Siracusa where you view the wonderfully preserved temple and amphitheater. Continue your picturesque drive to Taormina and overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 6 :
TAORMINA
Taormina is built atop the sea. The romantic city with its’ quaint shops and restaurants offers breathtaking vistas. We suggest an optional tour to Siracusa or a trip to Mt. Etna to view this active volcano, or enjoy a day by the pool or at the beach. (B)
Day 7 :
TAORMINA / USA
After breakfast, drive to Catania airport for your return flight home. Arrival same day. (B)
