DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:

DAY 1
MON – USA:
Depart USA for an overnight flight to Athens. Full service on board.

DAY 2
TUE – ATHENS:
Arrival in Athens. A Homeric Tours representative welcomes you to Greece and transfers you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3
WED – ATHENS:
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens. Visits include the Acropolis and its museum. Spend the afternoon at leisure or explore this fascinating city on your own. (B)

DAY 4
THU – ATHENS:
Day at leisure. Shop for bargains at the Athens Flea Market, Monistiraki or visit the Archaeological Museum on your own. (B)

DAYS 5, 6 & 7
FRI, SAT & SUN –ATHENS / PIRAEUS / MYKONOS:
Transfer to Piraeus to board your ship bound for Mykonos. Lunch on board ship. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel for a glorious funfilled 3-day stay in Mykonos. Enjoy this beautiful white-washed island at leisure. For several decades Mykonos has been the favorite destination of jet-setters from around the world. Overnight in Mykonos. (B)

DAY 8
MON – MYKONOS / CRUISE:
Morning at leisure. Late afternoon transfer to port. Board the ship for the continuation of the 4-day cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey (B,D)

DAY 9
TUE – KUSADASI / PATMOS
Arrive in Kusadasi where you can take an excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. Then on to Patmos and take an optional excursion to the Monastery and Cave where John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation. (B,L,D)

DAY 10
WED – RHODES:
Arrive in Rhodes where you will spend a full day.Take an optional excursion to the city of Rhodes and the rocky Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple of Athena. (B,L,D)

DAY 11
THU – HERAKLION / SANTORINI:
Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an optional excursion to the Palace of King Minos at Knossos and the museum. Sail on to Santorini. Take an optional excursion to the excavation site at Akrotiri where recent Minoan excavations support the theories that Santorini might be the fabled continent of Atlantis. (B,L,D)

DAY 12
FRI – PIRAEUS / ATHENS / USA:
Return to Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Arrival same day. (B)
