DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:

DAY 1, USA:
Depart USA for an overnight flight to Athens. Full service on board.

DAY 2, ATHENS:
Arrival in Athens. A Homeric Tours representative welcomes you to Greece and transfers you to your hotel.

DAY 3, ATHENS:
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens. Visit the Acropolis and the world famous on-site museum. Spend the afternoon at leisure or explore this fascinating city on your own. (B)

DAY 4, ATHENS / MYCENAE / OLYMPIA:
Today, begin your Classical Tour of Greece. Milleniums of history unfold as you visit the archeological sites of Mycanae and Epidaurus. Drive on to Olympia for dinner and overnight. (D)

DAY 5, OLYMPIA / DELPHI:
Morning visit of the ancient site of Olympia, site of the ancient Olympic Games. Drive via Patras and Rion to Delphi for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 6, DELPHI / ATHENS:
Morning visit of the archeological site of Delphi, including the Temple of Apollo, and its museum. Evening return to Athens for overnight. (B)

DAY 7, ATHENS / PIRAEUS / MYKONOS:
Transfer to Piraeus to board your ship bound for Mykonos. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel for a glorious fun filled 3-day stay in Mykonos. Overnight in Mykonos. (B,L)

DAYS 8 & 9, MYKONOS:
Enjoy this beautiful whitewashed island at leisure. For several decades Mykonos has been the favorite destination of jet-setters from around the world. (B)

DAY 10, MYKONOS / CRUISE:
Day at leisure. In the early evening board your cruise ship for the continuation of the 4-day cruise to the Greek Isles & Turkey. (B,D)

DAY 11, KUSADASI / PATMOS:
Arrive Kusadasi and take an optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. Arrive at Patmos, the island where St. John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation. The optional excursion will take you to the Monastery and Cave. (B,L,D)

DAY 12, RHODES:
The next port-of-call is Rhodes where you’ll spend the full day. Enjoy the optional excursion to the city of Rhodes, Museum and the rocky Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple of Athena. (B,L,D)

DAY 13, HERAKLION / SANTORINI:
Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete, early morning. Take an optional excursion to the city of Heraklion Museum and the Palace of King Minos at Knossos. Sail on to Santorini. Take an optional excursion to the excavation site at Akrotiri where recent Minoan excavations support the theories that Santorini might be the fabled lost continent of Atlantis. (B,L,D)

DAY 14, PIRAEUS / ATHENS / USA:
Return to Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Return the same day. (B)
