If you wish to explore the major towns of Peloponnese and Mainland of Greece, this 7 night package is your best possible option. This eight day gets you acquainted with highlight monuments, historic locations and ancient treasures, and while our drivers will be taking you from one place to the next you will have the time to take in landscapes of unparalleled beauty from the comfort of your seat.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 :

Upon arrival in Athens you will be met by your English speaking driver and be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Check in at your hotel and make the most of leisure time in Athens to explore some of its major landmarks. Take a walk at Syntagma and watch the Evzones guarding the tomb of the unknown soldier, visit the shopping districts and have dinner in one of the local tavernas. enjoying the busting vibe that emanates from Athens.

Day 2 :

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and be ready to be picked up by our mini bus for your trip, starting from Peloponnese, south of Athens. First stop in Ancient Corinth to visiting the site hosting ruins for many periods, such as the Venetian, Turkish, Roman and Byzantine. You will also see the Corinth Canal being a major engineering work, connecting Greek mainland with Peloponnese. Next stop is, celebrated for its wine production. Visit at the archaeological site where the Nemea Games were held and trip back to Athens. Transfer to you hotel and leisure time in the evening to see Athens by night. Head to Plaka for a stroll in the romantic quarter at the base of the Acropolis and select one of the local restaurants to enjoy your dinner.

Day 3 :

Enjoy your breakfast and do your check out. You will be picked up by our driver who will drive the mini bus to Mycenae, Napflion and then Epidarus. In Mycenae you will witness the oldest ruins in modern Europe a real treasure reflected in monuments such as the Lions Gates, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. Next is where you will visit the ancient theatre renowned for its excellent acoustics, rendering ideal to host plays even nowadays. Then you will head to Napflion with its nice port and lovely old town, ideal for endless romantic walks. Nafplion features great restaurants and bars as well as some enchanting sandy beaches nearby.

Day 4 :

Relish a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Sparta in the southern part of Peloponnese. You will visit Ancient Sparta, the casle-town of Mystras, a great Byzantine town of paramount importance in the Byzantine era. Overnight stay in Sparta.

Day 5 :

Relish a delicious breakfast, check out and set off for your trip to Olympia, in the western part of Peloponnese. It is one of the most important towns of Greece historically speaking as it is home to the first Olympic Games. You will be glad to visit the ancient athletic facilities, the location where the Olympic flame is lit in a wonderful natural setting where you will find well preserved ruins. The archaeological museum is another highlight of this town. Transfer back to the modern town of Olympia for overnight stay.

Day 6 :

Have your breakfast, check out and right after you depart for your trip to the mainland and the historical town of Delphi. Legend has it that the town was home of the oracle, and thus it is considered one of the most sacred places in the Northern Hemisphere, also called “the navel of the world”. After visiting the amazing archaeological site you depart for Meteora and its breathtaking monasteries, nestled on huge sandstone mountains. It is a unique sight you shouldn’t miss. Overnight stay at a hotel in the nearby Kalambaka, where you can wander around the town and have a nice dinner in one of the local traditional tavernas.

Day 7 :

Have your breakfast, check out and you will be transferred back to Athens and your hotel. Leisure time to spend it as you wish. You may go on a shopping spree in the downtown market districts, walk around the city or even relax in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 8 :

Enjoy your breakfast, check out and be ready for your last tour of this amazing package vacation. This Half-day Athens City Tour introduces you to the major sights of Athens both of historical and cultural interest. Admire the grandeur of the Acropolis, visit the National Archaeological Museum, featuring ancient treasures, Syntagma Square and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House, the Temple of Zeus and the Olympic stadium, all being landmarks reflecting the glorious past of Greece. Once the tour is over you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
