Italy Trip Review: Cooking Class, Wine Tastings, Boat Tour, 10-Night Travel

Overall our trip to Italy was worth every penny! We had a rough start to the trip, as our airline (not booked thru the travel agency) had to cancel and change our connecting flight last minute which caused our luggage to be lost which then led us to having none of our belongings for the first two days of the trip. We informed our travel agency immediately and not only were they able to coordinate a private transfer to pick us up from our new location due to the flight change, but they were quick to help us track our luggage and even helped us coordinate a private transfer to pick up our luggage once it finally arrived in Italy so we didn't have to find a way to make the hour and a half trip to the airport ourselves - a huge lifesaver! Even when our travel agent wasn't always available by phone or email due to the time differences, she was able to provide us with multiple agents that we can go to who were in Italy who were extremely helpful and answered all of our inquires in a timely manner!
From the start of planning the trip, our agent was extremely thorough and made sure she checked off all the boxes on our list while still keeping in our price range. She was very responsive and attentive to all correspondence leading up to the trip and made sure we had all details and documents laid out upon our departure. The itinerary that was set up for us had everything we wanted! A cooking class, multiple tours, wine tasting, boat outing, etc. All tour guides and private drivers who drove us to and from all hotels, train stations and activities spoke English which was very convenient. Our travel agency even provided us with a list of recommended restaurants in each city, which was super helpful! All hotels were absolutely beautiful and the locations were perfect - right near city centers and walking distance to a ton of fun shops, restaurants and activities. I could not have asked for a more attentive group of people to handle our trip. Everyone was so nice and had our best interest at heart to make sure our trip was everything we could hope for and more!
