Travel Review: Italy & Switzerland Vacation, Verona, Venice, Tirano, Dolomites, Zurich, Hiking, 6-Day Trip

We had a wonderful time in the Dolomites and Northern Italy. We did not want to drive this route ourselves, and the public transportation is less reliable in the more remote areas. Our arrangements with the travel company went smoothly except for one small glitch, but it was remedied promptly (not their fault anyway). It was really nice to be able to have immediate phone contact with a representative from the travel agency in case of any problems. Although I could have planned this trip on my own, it was really much better and so much easier to have all of the pieces put together by an expert, including purchasing of train tickets and hotel arrangements. In addition to a private driver from Venice to the Dolomites, we had train travel arranged to Verona, private transport to Tirano, Italy, then a scenic train journey aboard the Express train ultimately to Zurich. All hotels were arranged by the travel company.  They have access to a huge network of contacts. They also were a very good resource for restaurant recommendations and lesser-known but interesting things to do and see.  I would definitely use this travel company again for custom Italy travel.
