Ecuador Travel Review: Province of Cotopaxi, Riobamba Canton, Hiking, Amazon, Volcanoes, Nature & Culture, Luxury Trip

The Hacienda in the Province of Cotopaxi was a perfect choice. Well preserved Spanish Hacienda with an Inca temple on the premises.
Food was great and wish we had spent more time there. Staff was amazing. Enjoyed the food here. 
Trip to Cotacachi , Agato was great .
Cotopaxi and Riobamba were most enjoyable and i managed to hike 15,000 to 16,000 ft to the refuge without much problem within 60 minutes. This was the highlight of my trip realizing that i still have some pep left in me at age 65..
The amazon trip - driving to Coca and then canoe ride was great. Am glad we did not take the flight in as we could appreciate the mountain range and isolation of the rainforest lodge deep in the Amazon forest. The guides pointed out the varied flora and fauna in detail having amazing knowledge about almost all the species. They were experts in finding different species. An ornithologists paradise.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there.
