Our commitment is that each travel specialist in Zicasso’s network is among the finest travel agents and tour operators – experts whom we consider the top 10%, or perhaps even the top 1%, in the industry.

To ensure quality, we’ve spent thousands of hours pre-qualifying and selecting our travel specialist partners. During this process:

  • We personally interview each potential new partner in detail. To determine their expertise and service levels, an initial interview typically lasts two hours.
  • We require that travel specialists have traveled extensively within the countries and destinations they sell, and continue to travel there every year.
  • We review examples of their customized travel itineraries in depth.
  • We continuously monitor their industry references, professional reputations, client testimonials, etc.

Payment Terms 

A deposit of 25% of total cost of the trip is required to confirm all services.
Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed by us in writing.
Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the tour start date. For reservations made within 30 days of departure, the entire tour cost could may be required to pay to booking, depending on the season or requiring from a hotel or special service.
If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation Policy

By the traveller

If you cancel a trip after making a booking you will lose some or all of the money you have paid for the trip. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation.

Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds of final payment will be honored as follows:

  • Between 25-30 days prior to departure: 75% refund
  • Between 20 and 25 days prior to departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 20 days prior to departure: No refund.

Penalties and fees imposed by our suppliers may be additional and, if imposed, will be deducted from the above refunds, if any.

You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking.

We may cancel a booking in exceptional cases. Then you may choose between us applying the amounts paid toward an alternative holiday that we will offer you or receiving a full refund, which shall constitute a full settlement. We cannot accept responsibility if the cancellation is due to terrorism, natural or man-made disasters, fire, political instability, civil strife, or other external events it is not viable for our suppliers to operate the planned holiday. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas or non-refundable flights.
