Our Zicasso travel agent helped us plan a four-week trip for four people to Australia and New Zealand, and it couldn't have been more perfect or gone more smoothly. She worked with us to plan all the things we wanted to do and had many suggestions that we would not have thought about. She was easy to work with and paid so much attention to detail. The app provided for the trip was incredible. All our tickets, vouchers, itinerary, and hotel and restaurant information were available at all times. Our trip to Australia and New Zealand was coordinated and organized by Zicasso’s travel agency. We specified the places we wanted to visit from the suggestions provided by them and asked that they include in the itinerary travel-free days to visit family in Australia, in Melbourne, New Castle, and the Gold Coast.

We received all the travel details and instructions online before we left Canada. On arrival in Australia and New Zealand, we received a booklet with details for each day's itinerary (hotel name, pick-up times, places, flights).

Everything worked like clockwork, and we had a very relaxing, enjoyable, and worry-free vacation. The hotels were in great locations, secure, and provided excellent services.

Zicasso’s travel agency did an outstanding job organizing our four-week adventure trip. Our agent provided us with helpful information and listened well. We felt she truly “got us” and came up with an itinerary that was a good fit for our personalities, physical activity levels, interests, and priorities.

The trip was terrific. It is impossible to single out a favorite experience because there were so many highlights.

We had a good balance between experiencing nature in beautiful places, as well as art and culture. There were several opportunities to get up close and personal with wildlife that is exotic to us North Americans, both in the wild and at wildlife refuges.

We enjoyed many boat rides, including, but not limited to, a sailboat cruise around Sydney Harbour, a boat ride along the rugged coast of Bruny Island in Tasmania, and a ride in the ferry to and from the MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) in Hobart.

The agency booked us in comfortable, good lodgings in good locations, mostly hotels, but notably a bed and breakfast on a family farm on Kangaroo Island, where the owner provided dinner and breakfast, and could have been a five-star chef.

Any enterprise that lasts for four weeks is bound to have a few glitches. None of the few we experienced were the fault of our travel agency and they were all relatively minor. Most importantly, whenever the agency became aware of an issue, they were always attentive and helpful, and managed to resolve the matter in real time and to our satisfaction.

Our Zicasso travel agent and his company mapped out a great trip to New Zealand and Australia for us. Frankly, it exceeded our high expectations. We told our agent when we wanted to go, what we wanted to see and do, and how much we had budgeted. He got it all done – flights, hotels, ground transportation, and activities – and for less than our budget.

We had only one hiccup on the trip itself, involving a flight mix-up, and that was resolved quickly. Everything else, and it was a four-week trip, went off without a hitch. The accommodations were an eclectic mix of boutique hotels, resort stays, and downtown hotels, but all were four- or five-star. The activities ranged from train rides to cruises to wine-tasting tours to visits to world heritage sites. In short, the trip of a lifetime.
