Use a different airline. We flew Delta and paid for Economy Plus. The seats were thin as we could feel everything that the person behind us did in their seat pocket in front of them. The seats do not recline that much. The meals were so bad we could not even eat them. When trying to call into Delta regarding help with our seats ( as I had a seat assignment, but my husband did not have a seat?) the call back time was 5 hours. They could not help with finding him a seat, so gave me another phone number to call back in on and I waited on the phone ( no call back offered) 3 more hours and couldn’t wait any longer. It was an extremely frustrating experience. They need more understanding and empathy regarding there customers.
