Overall we enjoyed our trip. The travel company did arrange everything we asked for, and added a few extras (which we did truly enjoy and appreciate).
There was only one sore point: the hotel in Girona was not somewhat out of the way from the downtown area. Our trip coordinator did resolve the issue, which made getting to/from the hotel acceptable.
There were many enjoyable aspects. Each of the guided tours were excellent. Each of the regions we visited offered a different aspect of the culture.
I would say the wine tour in Vilafranca was exceptional, followed closely by the trip to Cadaques and the visit to Mascaro.
The pinxho tour was also very enjoyable.
We went from place to place (Barcelona to Haro to Bilbao to San Sebastian to Girona to Vilafranca and then back to Barcelona). That was our decision: the tour made all of the travel arrangements.
Both my wife and I came to the same conclusions: we had too many bags with us and we are getting too old for that type of travel (not that we regretted any place we went to). I think we should have stayed in Barcelona the night before we traveled to Girona, both for rest and the opportunity to leave some of our bags at the hotel, rather than having to carry them on/off the trains and then into the taxi and then into the hotel.
