I believe the trip was successful for the most part. But we did have some difficulties with pick up times in Oslo and Copenhagen. The phone numbers did not work from my iPhone and thanks to the concierge who dialed from his desk phone was able to get through. The UK number listed on the itinerary did not work properly. And emergency numbers are a farce when you are in Europe and trying to call at odd hours. If you are going to have emergency numbers they should be answered by a live person. The hotel in Oslo should not be recommended to anyone until they fix their front desk problems and cleaning problems.
Touring Oslo. We did not see the Northern Lights but that was ok because Senja was enjoyable. I listed several things that should be done at the Senja retreat but these were minor and did not disrupt our stay. Copenhagen is always a delight and we really were on our own but that's ok since I've been there several times and knew what we should see and do. The hotel in Copenhagen is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to that city.
I'd not stay in Senja for 4 nights and would go in January instead of October. The weather is too unpredictable and you have 0-20% seeing the Northern Lights. Think I'll stick with Canada. I'd also make sure I shopped at a grocery store before staying in Senja. Towns are at least 45 minutes from Senja Island and not conducive for going to town daily. I found the hotel staff wonderful as well as the guides. For anyone not eating meat, this is a tricky menu.

The transfers, especially in Oslo, were not provided to the usual level of service that we expect. This has been raised with our transfer partner to improve for future travel in the city.
The Oslo hotel we have used for many years and have up until recently received only positive reviews, but we have now taken these comments on board and will no longer offer the hotel until we are personally able to inspect the premises for a third time.
Our emergency number is staffed by our small team of people and my colleague had tried to call you back within 30 minutes of your initial call. We strive to answer all calls as soon as possible and return the call where not possible, but unfortunately there was a short delay at this early hour. Our UK numbers provided include the necessary country code needed to ring from abroad. We have not previously been made aware of any issues with dialing our number or our partners numbers whilst abroad, but we are reviewing how this is presented to ensure that instructions of how to call are clear.
I apologise for the inconvenience surrounding lunch. The resort does offer a lunch option in the restaurant, but I perhaps overlooked this at this stage. I will take this on board for future clients.
