We enjoyed our trip immensely and very little we would change. This travel company was great to work with and we communicated well. It was truly luxurious. We loved all of our tours and drivers except one. The hotels were mostly very nice. I'd certainly recommend the Zicasso company and this travel company to anyone.
All of the vehicles we toured in were Mercedes Benz and the drivers very knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant to spend time with.
The hotel in the Blue Mountains was an outstanding lodging, and I'd be interested in knowing more about their other properties.
Also the Tali Wiru dinner in/near Ayers Rock was a truly incomparable experience!
We especially enjoyed the drivers in Melbourne and Ayers Rock. Others were very good also.
I would request a different driver to Sydney. Our driver was full of information I'm sure, but talked non-stop for four hours. I really could not understand his accent and was in the back of the vehicle myself making it doubly difficult. My friend was afraid to ask any questions for fear he would talk even more!
I would not stay at the hotel at Ayer's Rock again. It reminded me of well worn hotels I've stayed at in Cayman Islands and Hawaii.
* My gentleman friend, age 86, slipped and fell on his right side due to the wet marble bathroom floor. Not a good idea, people. The hotel is very fortunate that he did not suffer any obvious injury from the fall.
* Although they had been notified that we would have private transport to the airport the last morning, while we were at breakfast they came and collected our luggage to be put aboard the truck or bus for the community transportation. Our luggage contained valuables and personal items , some not locked, some locked. They disconnected phone chargers and put them in outer pockets of luggage and removed the suitcases without our knowledge or permission. This is unacceptable.

Regarding hotel at Uluru, as mentioned during one of our phone conversations, we had originally planned for you to stay at an amazing resort, however they were fully booked for your stay. The best hotel there after the resort is the one you were booked at. While rated as a 5-star hotel, I agree that it’s not up to the same standard as the ultra-luxe resort. They should have been better organized regarding the transfer of your luggage on your departure day, and we apologize on their behalf for any inconvenience caused to you. While we are happy to hear that your friend’s fall was not very serious, we have written to the hotel’s management informing them of their slippery bathroom floors with a recommendation to place better quality floor mats in their bathrooms so that this may be avoided in the future.
