I wasn't really sure what I was getting into planning a trip to Spain using an agent I didn't know and really was using a leap of faith. The leap was rewarded with my use of this company and this agent. From the beginning, he was very easy to talk to and email with. I was able to communicate easily what my trip for my husband, 17 year old and myself involved. This was a complicated itinerary because my son and husband were wanting to do a Camino de Santiago for 6 days (long walk through Spain-look it up) and I was joining them a week later in Pamplona, to see the running of the bulls. We were then going to San Sebastian and ending our trip in Barcelona. Wow! Right there, planning for my family on my own would have been exhausting. Able to be done, but exhausting. What we found in this agent was the guarantee of getting to the locations we desired, having transportation arranged, and private tours to discover the best of such a beautiful country. We did it with his help. Every hotel was picked based on our rating preference and we had no complaints. Accommodations were excellent. He was easy to reach by phone and I would like to also let everyone know that when my connection from Atlanta was missed due to weather, he rearranged my train travel for when I did arrive and had everything done very quickly. It was a huge weight off of my shoulders as I am usually the one who arranges our trips. Well done. My son's Senior trip was amazing and we owe it to you.
Your overall comments on Zicasso
Had never heard of you before. Again, it was a leap of faith, but I'm so glad I did and would use this website for next out of country experience. Thank You.
For us, this was a Senior trip for our son, 17 years old. The Camino de Santiago was a walk and time spent together for father and son that we may never have time to do again. Travel is amazing just for reconnecting. The private tours that we did in San Sebastian and Montserrat as well as to 2 wineries were our favorites. Our agent arranged these and we felt as close to locals as 3 North Floridians could by the end. What a nice way to connect with locals and be able to ask a million questions. San Sebastian was a smallish resort town with amazing pintxos, wine, ambiance and Callie Mocho (Coke and Wine-yes, my son enjoyed it:) Our wine visit withthe winemaker of Clot dels Oms was just soul touching.
Having a 17 year old with us was the plan, but stating that, I would say we would have requested later starts to our day so he could sleep in some.
Also, I could have done another day in San Sebastian rather than Barcelona. I just loved the smaller towns versus Madrid or Barcelona. No offense to those large cities.
