I wanted to give some feedback regarding the amazing tour that you organized for us. I went with my 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter. We visited Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. The trip was everything I could have dreamed about and more.
I loved that when I arrived at a new destination, I was met by one of your highly professional and helpful guides which made me feel safe, particularly when traveling with my two children. I would like to mention here one particular guide. She was our favorite guide among the 5 or so guides that we had. She went way beyond the call of duty by doing things that made our trip even more enjoyable than it already was. She explained the history and culture in detail in every place we were with love and enthusiasm. She brought us to lovely restaurants where she helped us order food that she knew we would enjoy. (I am very particular when it comes to food, liking very little meat and lots of vegetables) She did things like bring me a coffee when she knew I was exhausted and hungry when I was being fitted for clothes. She even helped me pack so I would have enough time to get a massage before leaving a hotel. Finally, she bought balls to an orphanage that we had visited upon my request and then sent pictures of the kids smiling faces. Your guides, most of all, seemed to really love their jobs and what they were doing and really made our trip.
Thank you again to everyone who helped to make our trip so special and create memories of a life time.
Of the many wonderful and interesting experiences we had, both my kids and I thought that five of the experiences were our favorite and really stood out in our minds. First, the bicycle tour to the small town in Vietnam with the rice paddies. We loved spending time with the couple who showed us how to plow and grow a vegetable garden, pick vegetables and then cook a beautiful meal. Second, we loved the delicious dinner in Vietnam at the home of a daughter of one of the dignitaries. She showed us around her garden and home which was relatively untouched from when it was built, ate a beautiful 8 course meal with us and then my kids played soccer with her kids to end off a beautiful evening. Third, our orphanage visits and our memories of the beautiful children. Fourth, our trip to spend time with the elephants. We had fun, feeding riding and bathing the elephants and speaking to the staff and the other family's at night. And finally our tour of Ankorwat and learning about the killing fields from guides whose family members were killed or were part of that time period.
When we were in Koh Samui I would not have done the snorkel trip with the outside vendor that you chose. While the actual snorting was great, they packed is in like sardines on the boat which was 90 minutes each way to the islands where we snorkelled and did not try very hard to make the trip enjoyable. I think it might be better to do a more private trip. It was not up to your standards of exceptional customer service.
