The trip was wonderful. Ireland is beautiful. The people are fun, friendly and helpful. Our travel planners at this Ireland travel agency were great to work with - knowledgeable, flexible, willing to work with us to change things around, and highly professional. Our agent was accessible at all hours and looked up many odd things we requested. We would work with them again any time. Further, the company sends helpful literature, reviews of castles, thank yous, etc. Well managed.
This is very hard to say for Ireland - we did something different and interesting every single day. First the people we met - chatty and fun. The scenery is varied and each change of place brings oohs and ahs...the range of green is visually outstanding ... the sheep and cows sprinkled from the high mountains to the edge of Cliffs of Mohr. The hop on hop bus in Dublin...library at Trinity College...the prison...the good food. Ring of Kerry drive...Dingle Peninsula... the Giants' Causeway walk (sea smell, huge columns, easy walking)...Derry and Belfast (don't miss).
I would skip Adare and spend more time in Cork and go to Cobh. I would eat at Clondart Castle but not stay there (rooms way too small).
