I would not do the ocean kayak with my boys at this young of an age when we stayed at the hotel in Manuel Antonio National Park. I adored it, but the paddling was hard for them and tiring. Even my son says that was his least favorite part. Also, the equipment was not great and my other son ended up with a very sore rash because he did not have a life jacket that properly fits a 10 year old, so it was way too large. As such, it rubbed him the entire trip causing it to be sore and sting in the salt water and with the sunscreen. Its a small thing, but kids remember this kind of stuff. I also would not do the Wildlife Rescue Center. Seeing the animals in cages when they are roaming wild everywhere seemed off to us. Even though they rescue injured animals, thus why they are in cages, it just wasn't something I think I'd want to see when there is so much to do that we didn't have time for. But, the staff there was lovely. I'd just eliminate this activity and do something else instead :)
