The trip was fantastic, and the company is run in a very personable and efficient manner.
The most enjoyable parts of the trip were of course in the middle of the Patagonia region, although the company made great efforts to highlight the interesting areas of Buenos Aires and Santiago.
I would prepare for lighter baggage to transfer over the border between Argentina and Chile because the border crossing there was physically quite rough and a little too fast-paced for nine people with all that luggage. Also, I would prepare to spend more money at the Torres Del Paine resort because all of the goods and services there were a little too expensive. I would hike more at Torres Del Paine.
If I were to travel to Argentia and Chile again, I would spend weeks just in Buenos Aires and Santiago instead of the few days we spent. I would spent those weeks touring the art museums and taking in the deep culture of those cities. I would learn more Spanish before I went.
