This travel agency satisfied our request for a variety of experiences, lodging, activities and geography while in Australia for 31 days. After tweaking our itinerary several times, we were very happy with the final order in which we visited the various cities and areas of Australia. The month of April was the perfect time to visit. Logistically speaking, flights, transfers, rental car pick ups went as designed. There were several excellent tour guides but there were 3 specific guides we would not recommend in the future. In our 3 day stay in Hobart ( 2 days of touring and one free day) we were excited to visit MONA, highlighted by our travel agency as the "one museum in Australia" not to be missed. Unfortunately it was CLOSED on our one free day! Despite taking the initiative to rearrange our guided tour schedule we were unable to do so on such short notice. A big disappointment.
One final note, we would have appreciated being recognized as the Canadians we are rather than as Americans as shown on our vouchers. They wrongly identified us leading us to correct hotel front desk staff and tour guides wherever we went. This became a continuing source of irritation.

We are so appreciative of the general feedback and specific comments from these clients. The general feedback that our clients were happy with their time in Australia is welcome and appreciated. There were some things that we could have and should have approached differently and conversations with these travellers’ following their return from Australia were highly valued, ‘teachable moments’. Around guides that we need to be re-visiting after many years of successful partnership, we have looked at deficiencies that caused the experience to fall flat for our clients and based on our own expected quality standards and have had conversations with each around our expectations. The fact that MONA was closed on Tuesday, our clients’ day ‘at leisure’, was unacceptable and we completely recognize that this should not have been overlooked. We also discussed the ‘American’ reference with our clients as relates to our company being recognized as American and not necessarily our clients as was the case with these Canadian nationals, however, understand that it would have been frustrating to be identified as a different nationality than what is the case. The upshot is that we will be approaching the aspects of our services that required attention, based on this review, with due gravity. We are especially appreciative to our clients for their infinitely valuable and constructive feedback.
