Our vacation to Spain with our travel specialist was an amazing and great time! We are so very thankful to Manlio, our travel specialist, who totally made sure of absolutely every detail to see that we had a good time and enjoyed the total culture of Spain with the best tapas, beach relaxation, vineyards, palaces, Sevilla, Granada, the Alahambra Palace, Royal Andalusian horses, Madrid, the Prada Museum, Toledo, etc.
Everything was very well organized by Manlio, no matter that Covid is still a concern, we felt very safe. Manlio did a fantastic job with his careful selection of tour guides and drivers that made our trip just amazingly smooth.
We really enjoyed our entire Spanish holiday. We loved touring the Alahambra Palace in Granada and our driver Rafael was so pleasant, while Guillermo, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Rafael also drove us to Malaga, where Anna took us out to Antonio Banderas' restaurants, El Pimpe, and a new formal one, for some delicious Black Iberico Jamon with great Spanish Sherry, such a sweet and smart tour guide! Then our driver Jose treated us to the best Sevillian music riding to JF Vineyard in Rhonda where our tour included wine tasting and a delicious paella with desert! We then stopped in Rhonda and were inspired by our tour of the city and the first Bull Ring of Spain by Antonio, our tour guide. I bought two handpainted fans that were so Beautiful in Rhonda!
Jose then drove us to our stunning boutique hotel in Sevilla, where we really were pampered by their great hospitality from Diego, Jessica, Vanessa, and Jordan, I mean the owner even walked us out to take us to a spice shop for Saffron! Beautiful and stunning cathedral of Sevilla! We will never forget Sevilla!
Our most favorite person from the tour guides was Fran B! Fran had great knowledge of Sevilla, the history, and truly entertained us with the utmost hospitality, kindness, and really became a friend with his honestly spectacular life experiences in Spain and throughout the world!! Fran took us to the Flamenco and out for the BEST food tapas in Sevilla, where his lovely wife, Angeles stopped by to meet us too.
Fran took us to Jerez for the Royal Andalusian Horse Show, which we will never forget; the amazing, spectacular dancing horses, and Caballeros, to the delicious restaurant serving Tortillas de Camarones, and Fran's tennis shoes literally falling apart and him going barefoot to a zappato store!!
Our trip ended in Madrid and Toledo with Emilia and Inma as our great tour guides! Toledo being a majestic city Fortress that Inma had a driver stopping at a distance to point out history and sites. I bought some beautiful 24k Damascean earrings and some great cellist's CDs by Chiki Serrano! Just a charming city!
As for Madrid, Emilia really did a great job describing the history and the Palace, as well as the artwork in the Prada! muchas gracias Emilia! We really enjoyed our nightly long strolls in Madrid, watching The Baskers sing in The Puerta del Sol, or watching Michael Jackson dance, or getting a Tapa at The Four Seasons Hotel was very relaxing in such a happening city! The last night in Madrid was a dining delight at Chef Paco Roncero's Restaurant, La Terraza Del Casino on a rooftop, outdoor patio view of the city, listening to live jazz saxophone player and a singer! Salute Madrid!!
Hasta La Vista! Adios!
