We had a wonderful experience in northern Italy, and all of the tour operators and guides were on time and very nice
Our day trip to Parma where we toured the parmigiana cheese factory and how the tasty cheese is produced, and then went to tour the famous prosciutto factory to see the process in curing the fabulous Parma prosciutto. Following the (2) different factory tours, we settled at an outstanding restaurant settled in the middle of the hills of Parma for a delicious meal with some of the local wine. After our meal we went to Modena to tour a Balsamic Vinegar cellar and learn about how the famous Balsamic is made as well as sample the delicious varieties of Balsamic.
This was an unforgettable experience, and would highly recommend it to everyone who loves food!
We would only take tours on alternating days, instead of daily tours. We found to be tired of having something booked for every day, and would've much preferred to tour one day, and enjoy the city with no plans on the next day, etc.
