Our travel agent planned an ambitious tour with many very special, memorable facets. Not everything was perfect but she was always available by phone and made extraordinary efforts to smooth over any rough spots.
By far the most enjoyable moments were the private access we were given to Palais Garten in Vienna and the Strahov Monastery Library in Prague. Additional highlights were the Herend Factory outside of Budapest, the superb seats for the opera in Vienna and the Thursday night dinner at the Historical Museum in Vienna where we dined on a multi-course feast at our own pace while feasting visually in the different museum wings on the fine art between courses. We also liked the private cooking lesson in Vienna where we learned to make goulash and apple strudel from scratch.
Spend less time in Prague. On my bucket list for years, it just did not stand up to the rest of the tour. Dirty, crowded and especially suffering from a "communist hangover." If in capitalist countries the customer is always right, in Prague the clerk is always right. It had its moments but honestly I would spend two nights instead of four.
