Over all the trip was a success. One time our driver did not pick us up from the hotel to the airport and we were not given a local cell phone in Berlin even though we were told the driver would give us one.
Loved Berlin and checking out all the neighborhoods. There is a free music festival every Sunday in Mauerpark that was my favorite part of the trip. We also went to a soccer game at the Olyimpic stadium which was amazing. The Jewish area of Krakow was very interesting to check out.
I would have flown (although non-direct) from Krakow to Prague instead of having the driver, and then taken a half day tour of Auschwitz. The way we had it was to have our driver pick us up in Krakow and drive us to Prague, with a stop in Auschwitz. It should be known this concentration camp is not really on the way, its quite a bit off the main highway, so that alone added a substantial amount of time to the trip. We felt kind of rushed through the memorial because we knew the driver was waiting. Also, the drive was lengthier than expected from Prague to Krakow. The driver himself was very pleasant though.
I also thought 3 nights in Krakow was borderline too much, two would have been fine.
Prague was quite crowded with tourists which I didn't really like. Again 3 nights instead of 4 would have been more than enough.
