At the beggining of the tour the agency assigned us a tour leader that neither spoke undertandable spanish or english. He also acted very unprofessionally (for example the date I arrived I was having a business conversation with one party, he just came and seated in the table, order a drink, and started smoking (we hate smoke). No permission asked. When the first group arrived it took him one one hour and half to move the group up to the hotel from the city parking. When I told the agency this, he lied by saying that one person in the group had gotten sick and had to handle the situation. I had to call the agency to formally request his removal. More, he can be said to be the silent tour leader. No explanation, no history knowledge. When asked a question he went blank or gave a stupid answer. I have to say that once removed, the new tour leader was wonderful. The best for her. Hotels: The first hotel was very unpracticable for a 19 person group. It was on a hill and moving to or from places was horrible. The planning of the tour was disastrous. To many long distances, and we fell that some cities we passed by, we also passed through the other day. we spend too much time in the bus because of this. Meals were also badly planned as we had the same kind of menu everyday for lunch and dinner. I have to admit that our guide took charge and not only had restaurants changed menus but also some of the days she changed restaurants. I couls keep writing more. The positive: our new guide saved the situation. A real leader and problem solver. Will never use this agency.
