Overall we had a wonderful trip and this travel agent checked in with us several times while we were there. The four tours that were arranged were fantastic, and the tour guides very much catered the tours to our interests. We also really liked the first four hotels (but not the fifth) and the drivers were all prompt and professional. All of the transfers were well coordinated.
We enjoyed the wine tasting tour, seeing the beautiful villages of Luberon, and the cooking class in Aix. The tour to the Roman Aquaduct with Florian was also unique in that he gave us the opportunity to go to a Lavender distillerie which we really enjoyed.
The parts of the trip that I would change are as follows:
The hotel in Nice was not in a good location, and not very nice. The deadbolt on our room did not work, there were few amenities and everything was very small. However, the people that worked there were very nice.
The train ride to Nice from Aix was miserable. It was 3 and a half hours (when apparently it is only a 90 minute drive by car) and the air conditioning in the train did not work (during a heat wave when temperatures were 100 degrees F).
The hotel in Uzes was wonderful but unfortunately there was a local festival going on there that involved having club music with the accompanying party sounds until 1 am directly outside of our room window. The hotel management apologized but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that we could not go to bed until after 1 am.
The driver in Nice from the hotel to the airport texted on his phone the whole time he was driving.
Also, the road book requires updating. A couple of the recommended restaurants were closed.
