Very fun and interesting trip, overall. Our travel company did a good job but should fire 1 employee who did not do his job! Very happy that trip was organized and planned out but would have preferred NOT to have needed train ride from Zagreb to BUD as I never wanted to visit Zagreb and hated that slow, inefficient train ride.
Must admit that all lodgings were centrally located which helped a lot! Except for 1 employee - liked all!
Travel in Croatia and time in Budapest was most enjoyable. I especially liked Plitvice Lakes, Dubrovnik, and the Gellert Bath. Cesky Krumlov and Montenegro were fun tours!

Thank you for your feedback, we were really happy to hear you enjoyedyour experience with us. Again we are extremely sorry that you hadsuch a terrible experience while boarding the train to Vienna. We cancertainly understand how such a scary experience would put a damper onyour time in Vienna. However we were very surprised to read yourcomments about our employee as he is consistently one of our best. Healways receives glowing feedback from clients so this is definitelythe first negative comments we have received but and I am sure thereis a reasonable explanation.
Our apologies for the transfer not coming to pick you up on time thatday. Unfortunately our provider mixed up the pick-up point and insteadof coming to the hotel to pick you up they went to the train stationso they had the instructions backwards. After you called our staff toinform him that the car was not there he immediately called ourprovider and a replacement car was there quickly. We were told thereplacement driver showed you the platform and that you made it on thetrain with enough time to spare.
Although the transfer incident was out of our control, ultimately itis our fault and our staff certainly felt responsible. This was thereason they organized the special service of a boat cruise in Praguefor you and some treats to your hotel to compensate for the mistake.When our staff messaged you to inform about the cruise it appeared youbelieved the blame for the blame for the mugging was somehow due toour staff's action. I honestly do not think it is fair to relate thecause of the mugging to a late transfer.
Our staff did try to call again when upon your arrival in Prague butthere was no answer. We also had our Prague contact offer to take youto the police station and help file a police report but this wasdeclined. Even though this mugging was completely out of our controlwe still wanted to make sure you were comfortable and not stressedafter this horrible experience so my colleagues in Croatia also triedto make up for the incident and bought you some local gifts andsweets.
Regarding the train ride from Zagreb to Budapest, I'm sorry to hearyou did not enjoy Zagreb. The most common feedback we get from ourguests who spend just one night in Zagreb is they wish they hadlonger. Unfortunately the only option that fit your budget was to takethe train from Zagreb so one of the primary reasons we suggested thismode of transport. During the communication you had with the salesdepartment you confirmed it was understood that a stop in Zagreb wasrequired en route to Budapest and you were ok with this.
Again we are extremely sorry for any negative experience youencountered but we are happy to hear that overall you enjoyed yourtrip with us.
Make sure the driver was no longer working for the company in BUD. He professed to care about us up to the time we really needed his help. Then at that moment- he did not adequately provide it! As a result, I suffered a loss of $400 due to being emotionally upset and hence, a victim of a mugging while boarding train to Vienna.
