I can't say enough about this Argentina travel company and particularly our agent who planned our trip, and our guide, who met us in Buenos Aires and helped us out during our stay. We have never been to South America and had no idea where to start. We also don't speak Spanish. Our agent listened to my ideas and the type of activities we like and she planned a trip for us. When I wanted any changes, big or small, she made them. She even found an off season rate in one of the nicest spa resorts in Ushuaia which was a real treat. She did so much work to make sure every detail of our trip to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, El Calafate and Ushuaia was perfect. Here are a few little extras: A lovely welcome gift on our arrival, and a private meeting with Mariano (at our hotel for our convenience) to personally go over every detail of our trip, perfectly arranged transfers so we always had a driver waiting (never once late), held our luggage from the first week of our trip in their office so we didn't need to carry so many bags on our many flights the second week, arranged a day-use hotel for us so we could shower and freshen up during our last day before our red-eye international flight home. Our agent and our guide not only planned the big activities of the trip, but they also helped with the small details, like where to find the best ice cream and which restaurants to try. Our agent and travel company not only did everything we asked, but they took the extra steps that we didn't even expect. At first I thought such custom treatment would be out of our price range, but the prices were very reasonable. We couldn't believe such a great personalized trip came at such a reasonable price.
Having a driver pick us up early for our day at Iguazu Falls. We arrived before the crowd and had a few beautiful hours all to ourselves. Near El Calafate, loved the trek on the Perito Merino glacier on a cold crisp sunny day. The food in Argentina is wonderful, and we ate gourmet meals every night for the price of very average American chain food.
Would spend one more day in each place. With each place requiring a flight, there was never much time to relax and wander after the tours. It is what we wanted though, to see the most of Argentina in our short time there. Next trip I would visit Mendoza and Salta.
