Some of the accommodations and the tour guide/ transfer drivers used should not be recommended and had we known we would have taken all recommendations with a grain of salt. We had hoped it would take the guesswork out of our vacation since all the vendors should have been vetted. Their customer service was very friendly although some requests made pertaining car rental a few weeks before the trip were not followed and then they acted as though they never received them. I actually had to forward them the email again! Also we wee adamant about air conditioning and one of the facilities did not have working air con and the other was just poorly functional. Also they would just send emails regarding payments due which was annoying- I would rather when we booked for them to spell out and say x amount due on this date and then x amount due on this date so we would have known in advance to get payments ready since checks were needed.
Mostly timely transfers and itinerary spelled out. Handy phone to use for questions. Two great accommodations out of 4. It did really take the stress out of worrying about moving from city to city

The reviewer certainly has some valid points here as some aspects of the tour could have been handled differently but hopefully some explanation will clear things up. I can confirm that all the partners used are certainly vetted as we have several years of experience working with our partners there. Since we have full time staff in Croatia this enables to hand pick those partners we work with to insure the quality. It appears an email about this client's rental car request was overlooked but ultimately the service was provided as requested and without incident. We were fully aware of this client's request for air conditioning in their accommodations and actually in Croatia we do not offer any accommodations that are without air conditioning as we understand temperatures in Croatia can get reach high levels in the summer and this is the norm in the area. We checked with the two accommodations about the air conditioning at the time of this client's stay and both said it was working as usual and they did not receive any complaints from the client. Our normal procedure with payment is to take a deposit in advance of the trip and at that time we notify the client that final payment is due 30 days before arrival. Then at around 40 days before arrival we send clients a reminder email about this payment so this must have been the email this client is referring to in their review. Any of the issues mentioned have been addressed so we do not expect the same problems to occur again in the future.
