I would highly recommend this agency to anyone going to Argentina. We spent 12 days in Buenos Aires, Patagonia (El Calafate) and Iquazu (both Argentine and Brazilian sides). The agency rep was consistently highly responsive via email and phone during the planning. She made changes as I learned more about the options and then had to make a lot of last minute changes due the domestic airlines changing their schedules a month before the trip. They booked fantastic private guides for us. Every transfer and private car/guide showed up exactly on time.
This agency also had an emergency line in Argentina that we could call for any reason. The on call team was able to track down the driver who drove us to the EZE airport after he had already driven back to the city, and got him to return to the airport with my daughter's ring that she left in the back seat! Amazing service. Nothing to do with this agency, but be aware that domestic air travel in Argentina is not very organized. You can't book your seat assignments until 36 hrs in advance of the flight, and the agent can't do it for you. And boarding is like herding cattle. Other than that, traveling in Argentina was bliss!
Perito Moreno glacier. Take the short boat ride first to get the view from the water. Then walk the many miles of trails. Dress very warmly, lots of layers. It was breathtaking.
LOVED staying at resort in El Calafate and horseback riding every day on the property. It's expansive and gorgeous, the service is amazing, and the food spectacular.
Iguazu: Must do both sides! Plan on walking A LOT on the Argentine side. We didn't do the touristy boat ride and felt that we saw enough and got close enough to the falls that we didn't miss out. Definitely go to the Brazil side, but you only need 3 hr tour for that side--it's a completely different perspective. The hotel in San Antonio de Areco was lovely with private guide and horseback riding with a small group w/ gauchos, then a traditional estancia asada (BBQ)Shopping: Palermo near Plaza Armenia, El Salvador Street; Patio Bullrich in Recoleta; Market at Avenida Alvear only on Sundays.
Nothing. It was perfect.
