Everything went smoothly and as planned. We were met at the Ngorongoro Sopa lodge as arranged and driven to the Lake Eyasi lodge. It was quite hot at Lake Eyasi and the rooms didn't have A/C of fans so were quite uncomfortable at night. The tents at all the other sites were very comfortable with the exception of the shower. Some of the shower heads didn't work very well and a couple of times there was inadequate hot water but generally the shower facility was more than adequate and if you asked for more hot water you would get it.
The guide was good but his knowledge of birds should be improved. His knowledge of the animals was excellent. His driving was excellent and his "dust management" was excellent.
The dust in the Ndutu area was terrible but there isn't really anything anyone can do about it. The dust in the other areas of the park and conservation area wasn't as bad but there was still lots of it.
The most memorable part was seeing the lions, cheetahs and the leopards especially the cheetah that jumped on the hood and roof of our vehicle when the roof was raised and looked into the jeep at us. Exciting. We saw lots and lots of lions and lots of cheetahs and a couple of leopards.
I don't think there is anything that we would do differently.
