Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Your vacation starts as soon as you have landed. Our driver will meet you at arrivals and, after assisting you with your luggage, would transfer you to your central London luxury hotel. The Rubens at the Palace is as traditional hotel as you will find and is beautifully situated opposite Buckingham Palace. After settling in you could spend the rest of the day taking in your surroundings.

Day 2

Enjoy a full days sightseeing today with a Magestic Tour of the city. This panoramic driving tour will take you to see Parliament Square, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Following this would be a visit to see the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace before heading to St Paul's Cathedral for a guided tour. The day continues with a guided tour of the Tower of London including the Crown Jewels before heading to the River Thames for a river cruise to end the day.

Day 3

A day to explore the sights at your own pace. In the welcome pack which was waiting for you at your hotel when you first arrived you would find fast track passes which give you access to over 50 of the top attractions in London. These give you the freedom to explore the parts of London that really interest you. The only pre-booked event of the day will be your flight on the London Eye, which will give you a fantastic view over the city and beyond. With so many museums, galleries, historical buildings and attraction to explore all you have to decide is where you are going to start.

Day 4

A wonderful tour out of the city awaits you today. You travel in to the beautiful county of Kent, also known as the Garden of England. This tour takes you, first of all, to Leeds Castle near Maidstone where you will enjoy a private viewing of the castle it's self and have time to admire the scenery of the grounds. The next port of call is the historic city of Canterbury as you take a tour around the cathedral which dates back to before the 11th century. Your final destination of the day is the seaside town of Dover where you will see the famous White Cliffs which stand 400 feet above sea level and the brooding, 800 year old, Dover Castle.

Day 5

Another tour out of the city today which takes you to the truely magnificent Windsor Castle with a tour of the state apartments and St George's Chapel. Once you leave Windsor the next stop is to see the mystical Stonehenge. This ancient site has been baffling scientist and academics for centuries as to the real purpose the stone circle was built. Your final destination for the day is the Georgian city of Bath. This historic town is best known for the Roman Baths which are included in the tour of the city.

Day 6

Leaving London behind today, it's time to head north of the border into Scotland, spending the next few nights in Edinburgh. The train journey takes just over 4 hours and once there, make your way to the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel which will be home for the next 5 nights. This hotel is set in the old town which means you have the convenience of a city centre hotel with the restfulness of a quiet location.

Day 7

For the next two days you will have the chance to explore the city. You will be provided with the Royal Edinburgh Ticket which gives you unlimited access to the cities hop on hop off sightseeing buses and admission to three of Edinburgh's most famous attractions - Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Royal Yacht Brittannia.
