Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1

DAY 01 WED – SINGAPORE – TAMPIN – MALACCA (250 KM)
Meet at your hotel’s lobby (along Orchard Road) between 0600 to 0620 hours. Transfer to the train station for departure at 0740 hours to Tampin (train timing subject to change). Enjoy the rural scenery of villages and plantations. Arrived Tampin railway station at 1215 hours. The driver/guide will meet and transfer you to Malacca. In Malacca, the tour will cover many historic sites such as Cheng Hoon Teng Temple – the oldest functioning Chinese temple in Malaysia, Kampung Kling Mosque, Jonker Street (Antique Row), Baba & Nyonya Museum, Stadhuy’s Building, Malacca Clock Tower, Christchurch and the famous Porta de Santiago. Overnight.

Day 2

DAY 02 THUR – MALACCA – KUALA LUMPUR (147 KM)
Depart by 0830 hours to Kuala Lumpur. Your tour of Kuala Lumpur begins you’re your arrival to the capital city. Places to visit are the King’s Palace (photo stop), National Mosque & Railway Station, National Monument, Independence Square, Sultan Abdul Samad building (photo stop), Selangor Club (photo stop), St Mary’s Church and the world tallest free-standing flagpole. Continue to visit the Seri Mahamariaman Temple and the colourful Chinatown for some bargain hunting. Visit the tallest Communication Tower in South East Asia for a panoramic view of the City. Overnight.

Day 3

DAY 03 FRI – KUALA LUMPUR
After breakfast, proceed for a morning tour of the Countryside. You will drive by the Ambassadors road, visit the world’s famous pewter factory to see some of the products made with tin. Next stop is at the Batu Caves (except during Thaipusam festival in January), the sacred Hindu cave temple and a batik factory.
Rest of the day at leisure. You can take this free time to discover more of Kuala Lumpur, shopping or just relax in the many cosy cafes and restaurants. When the sun goes down, this vibrant city comes alive, head on down to Jalan Sultan Ismail, Maju Junction, Sri Hartamas, or Bukit Bintang area to catch some of the local night life.

Day 4

DAY 04 SAT KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS (220 KM)
0830 hours depart for Cameron Highland, a hill resort located at 1542 meters above sea level. The cool, crisp air of the highland and the beautiful sceneries are a welcome change. Cameron Highland is famed for its tea plantations and cool temperatures. Enroute, we will visit a cottage industry to see the art of basket weaving, stop by at Lata Iskandar Waterfall and a native settlement. The tour of the highlands includes the tea plantation, tea factory, market place and butterfly farm. Overnight.

Day 5

DAY 05 SUN – CAMERON HIGHLANDS-PENANG (330 KM)
Depart for Penang. On the way, we will stop by the Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple in Ipoh, Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan. Once we cross the fifth longest bridge in the world, we have officially arrived in Penang. Estimated arrival time is at 1830 hours. Rest of the evening at leisure.
If you are not too tired by now, take a walk to the night bazaar. Overnight.

Day 6

DAY 06 MON – PENANG
At 0900 hours, we will proceed for a City, Culture, and Heritage tour. Your first stop is the world’s third longest Reclining Buddha, enjoy the lush green surroundings with a wide variety of tropical plants and bird life at the Botanical Gardens. Visit the famous Kek Lok Si Temple home to the most beautiful and largest Buddha Temple Complex in South East Asia (known as the Temple of 1000 Buddhas), and Fort Cornwallis believed to be where Captain Francis Light first landed. Your tour will continue to the old part of Georgetown to visit the Khoo Kong Si Clan House. Enjoy a breezy trishaw ride. The rest of the day is at leisure.
In the late evening, you can explore the nightlife along Batu Ferringhi, local Penang style! Overnight.

Day 7

DAY 07 TUE – PENANG – KOTA BAHRU (400 KM)
0830 hours, depart overland from the West to the East of the Peninsular Malaysia to Kota Bahru in Kelantan. The journey will take you through the main mountain range offering breathtaking views of the dense tropical rain forest, villages and plantations. We will take stop by the quaint and rustic town of Gerik to absorb the atmosphere of how a big town was like 50 years ago!! Take a short stroll in the town to watch the locals go about with their daily chores. We will stop for a photo shoot of the scenic view of Temenggor lake in Banding Island and at the historic point which is the highest mountain point on this route at 1050meters above sea level and overlooking Thailand Malaysian border. From here you will catch the breathtaking view of the famous Titiwangsa mountain range with its dense tropical rainforest.
Before we proceed to your hotel, we will drive to the border town of Rantau Panjang where the Thai people and the Malaysian meet, mingle and trade. This busy trading town has duty free shops, merchants and traders offering varieties of products and wares to visitors. Overnight.

Day 8

DAY 08 WED – KOTA BAHRU – TERENGGANU (170 KM)
0830 hours, we start the day with a visit to the colorful wet market and traditional cottage industries like the silver handicraft, songket weaving, kite making and top spinning. Drive along the coast, taste some keropok, the famous local chips. Stop at Pulau Duyong, famous for its boat making, visit a brassware making shop, and local handicraft centre before arriving at Terengganu.
In Terengganu, visit the and interesting Museum built in a traditional architectural concept. The highlight in this museum is the Royal Heritage artifacts. Overnight.
** (Optional tour: Turtle watching is available from May to September when giant leatherback turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.)

Day 9

DAY 09 THUR – TERENGGANU – KUANTAN (250 KM)
0830 to 0900 hours, depart for Cherating, Kuantan. We will pass by the Floating Mosque and the oil town of Kerteh, visit the Marang Fishing Village and Turtle Information Centre. Enroute, taste the “lemang,” rice cooked in bamboo. Be a guest of a local community for afternoon tea.
In the tour of Cherating, you will get a chance to see a demonstration of coconut plucking, how mengkuang leaves are weaved into bags, mats, and other local handicrafts. Overnight.

Day 10

DAY 10 FRI – KUANTAN – SINGAPORE (400 KM)
0800 hours, overland to Singapore. We will stop at the Pekan Royal Town for a short visit. Our expected arrival time in Singapore is approximately 1800 hrs. Please note that in Johor Bahru, you will have to change and board a authorized vehicle with an Englsih speaking driver to enter Singapore.
Tour ends.
** Optionally, you can extend your stay at any of the fine beach resorts available.

* The rainy season along the East Coast is from November to February. Unexpected flash floods, although rarely, may occur. In such circumstances, the Company reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary.

* During the Hari Raya and the Chinese New Year, some places of interest are closed (Festive Dates are subject to change).

* Train journey from Singapore to Tampin Station, Malacca is without a guide.
