Lauri's Review
Everything was fabulous. I was very happy about the detail of things we needed to know. Everything played out like clock work. We had one problem with a time that was incorrect on the agenda, but not on the coupons. It turned out fine. I really appreciated that they were looking out for us even as we were on the trip. We received a phone call when there had been flooding where we were heading, offering to change the itinerary to help us out. Then they also checked on us by calling the hotel to make sure we arrived safely. I would refer anyone to this company. It was wonderful!
We loved the scenery, the countryside, the cities...visiting with people we had known in the past. We loved the casualness of the trip...by not being with a tour group and having to hurry from place to place....but being able to enjoy things and not be rushed. We loved the Milford Sound, Queenstown, the train rides, we even saw a professional rugby game which wasn't on our schedule, but we were able to do that because it was close to the hotel. We enjoyed Tamaki village in Rotorua and the gondola ride and luge ride. We enjoyed hiking to the glaciers. We loved the scenery in the Bay of Islands. Just everything!! Also, an unforseen bonus.....the plane broke down that we were supposed to take from Kerikeri to Auckland so we missed our connecting flight. We asked if they could put us on a different airline and they did. We had a bonus trip to Sydney and were able to leave the airport for only about 5 hours to see the city. That was amazing!
If we could, we would stay longer! But that wasn't what we could do.
