Travel Review: Luxury Argentina Tour, Buenos Aires, Tango, Bariloche, Iguazu Falls, El Calafate,...

Dale's Review

What are your overall comments on the trip and travel company?

The Argentina travel agency was over the top in providing a delightful itinerary, luxury accommodations, wonderful meals , wines and personal touches to include a private dinner with our delightful host Andrea and private cooking class with Marcelo. The guides and adventures were exceptional. They even provided us with a cell phone to call them anytime we needed something. They made us feel like royalty every step of the way.

We had the misfortune of flying Aerolineas Argentina during a shut down of domestic air travel and had to spend dozens of hours in airport chaos. But this Argentina travel agency quickly made alternate arrangements and got us back on track.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Our kayaking trip to a hot gourmet lunch served just for us on the shores of Mascardi Lake in Bariloche, hiking the falls in Iguazu and taking the boat ride into them, horseback riding at La Usina, the off road jeep adventure with grilled lunch on the ranch and hiking the glacier in El Calafate, also city tours of Buenos Aires and the tango show.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would NOT fly Aerolineas Argentina and spend more time in Bariloche. The airlines are a huge mess. Bariloche, on the otherhand, is a slice of heaven.
