Travel Review: Best Luxury Italy Vacation & Genealogical Journey, Amalfi, Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Genoa, Venice.

The itinerary put together by Alessia of this Italy travel agency was superb. We explained our desires of seeking a three-week Italian tour of six different cities and areas, from Amalfi in the south to Venice in the north, and Alessia put together an action packed itinerary that matched our goals precisely. It was the perfect blend of active learning during private and group tours during the morning hours (usually), and some adventure and exploration on our own during the afternoons and evenings.

The hotels were arranged to be next to our transportation from city to city, or very near the point where the group tours would meet. This precise situating of us next to our scheduled events took the anxiety out of traveling. After checking in to our new accommodations in each city we felt immediately at home. This left us free to concentrate on our goals of understanding the treasures of Roman, medieval and Renaissance Italy in their historical and cultural settings.

Alessia also assisted me with finding archives for family genealogy research. She contacted several people in Italy in attempting to put me in contact with places and people that would help in my research. The extra assistance that Alessia gave to me was very, very helpful.

Alessia also worked very hard in selecting hotels and tour guides that fit our budget, and was able to quickly change one or two that were slightly beyond budget.

Overall, our trip was the best arranged trip abroad of the many that we have taken. We highly commend Alessia for her excellent service to our family.
