The travel company did a great job putting together the flights and hotels I requested. Most of the hotels were exactly as I had requested, centrally located, and had well maintained accomodations. They also suggested we fly rather than take Ave between Barcelona and Madrid; flying was cheaper and faster!
We did this on our own, but if anyone is in Madrid, look into the Segway tour - a blast! Well worth the price for the 2 hours. Barcelona has them as well. The trip to Sintra outside of Lisbon was fantastic, amazing sights and perfect European town.
Sorry we didn't venture to the coast of Portugal, rather than staying in Lisbon as we did. Lisbon was an interesting city, but really feeling the affects of the bad economy in Portugal.
